In a recently interview with the Brutality Blog, Ben Weinman, lead guitarist and founder of The Dillinger Escape Plan, spoke about how he is in the early stages of a project with Mike Patton.
Q: Do you have any plans to work with Mike Patton again?
BW: I don’t think as Dillinger, as a band, but I’m probably going to be doing some project with him. I’m actually working on something right now. It’s in the works, there’s some things in the works. It’s not a secret, it’s just kind of in the early stages of…we don’t know exactly what it’s would it to be. So it’s very early stages of development.

It looks like Brazil isn’t going to be the only South American stop this November. Faith No More has also been confirmed to play the Maquinaria Festival in Santiago, Chile!
Is this all leading up to a mini-festival tour this fall?
